Also, I will probably use this new system of measurement in my 50% science fiction, 50% fantasy book just to annoy everyone who reads it. Harg, harg. Well, maybe not for that reason but anyway.

I use Kelvins and other SI units in my day-to-day life even now but I'm thinking about switching to Planck units just because they are even more obscure... no, that's not it. They would be more useful in the very theoretical situation if everybody used them instead of the SI or other systems. Yes, that sounds about right. Somebody has to start.
