Raptor Call of the Shadows (2015 Steam Edition) Gameplay - How to Unlock the All Sectors Achievement
Hello YouTube Community, I'm back!
I had to work on my thesis the last handful of weeks, so I didn't have much time to record new videos, but I hope that this video will keep you entertained until I finish that business.
Here I upload a new video of Raptor: Call of the Shadows, where I show you how to unlock the All Sectors achievement of this game. It was an insane adventure, replicating what I did more than a year ago off the record. I already had the achievement unlocked, so it didn't pop up, but I did exactly the same when I unlocked it. Some important things to note about this video are listed next:
1- All what is shown in this video was done in a single, uninterrupted run. I didn't save the game at any point, and I only close the game at the end of the video, what is also shown there. I had to stop the recording at some specific points, but when I had to, I just minimized the game and switched to it when I was ready to keep going.
2- I played on Elite difficulty from start to finish. I didn't either farm in Bravo Sector after finising it or grind Bravo Sector from a lower difficulty until I had enough money to buy the most powerful weapons of the game.
3- I didn't do the trick of aborting and selling the missiles that can be picked up in the beginning of certain levels. In fact, apparently the achievement won't get unlocked if any mission is aborted during the run.
4- The first completion of the game must be done "by Sector", starting from Bravo Sector, then Tango Sector and finally the Outer Regions. Then, the game must be completed a second time "by Wave". This is, starting in Bravo Sector 1, then Tango Sector 1 and Outer Regions 1, and then Bravo Sector 2, and so on, until beating Outer Regions 9. Then, the achievement will pop up.
A final warning is that the success of the gear setup depends very highly on your skill, and how well you manage at destroying as much as possible without getting hit by the enemies you find. I did a lot of mouse slips and misclicks with the right mouse button (the "spontaneous" change of selectable weapons), so my results in this run could have been better than the final outcome. Regardless of that, I'm proud of what I did here.
Finally, I want to thank HiHoFai for figured out that the achievement gets unlocked in such an insane way.
See you in the next video!
