My quick demo of my Raspberry Pi 3 revB setup with RemotePi board. For some reason, I am able to get both LIRC and HDMI CEC both working!

Most guides on setting up the RemotePi board say you need to leave HDMI CEC disabled and that it is either LIRC or HDMI CEC for remote control within OSMC.

I disabled HDMI CEC initially to get RemotePi and my WDTV remote working. After verifying all things were working, i re-enabled HDMI CEC and was able to use both standards. I can power on my HDTV via HDMI CEC as i power on my raspberry pi 3 w/my remotepi board and wdtv remote.
