Going Commando was approved for development, by Sony, five months before the first game's release, after highly positive reviews from the original's playtesters and because of Sony’s confidence in its success.

Development took eight months, during which Insomniac's team doubled from 40 to 80 members.
And in November 2003, a year after the release, of the original Ratchet and Clank title, Going Commando was released.
Though, because the PAL-region didn’t like their clever title. They named it Ratchet and Clank Locked and Loaded or just Ratchet and Clank 2.

After playing and loving the first Ratchet and Clank title, I have high hopes for Going Commando.
Does it improve upon its predecessor? Let’s find out.
