Ratchet is a simple mechanic living on the planet Veldin, going about his days repairing and building various things. Among these things is his own space ship in which he hopes too take off world one day and sail through the stars. The issue is he needs a robotic ignition device in order too start it. This is where Clank comes into play! Being a reject in a robotics factory, Clank finds out some information about a sinister plot that threatens the galaxy. He escapes the factory with this information only to be shot down, forcing a crash landing on planet Veldin. See where this is going?
