Ratchet & Clank Going Commando: Part 22: Terrible Tourism in Tadano
0This planet is an entertaining level in this game.
This has you start out with tourists that are guided by a robot Fizzwidget.
If you can help these tourists through their entire tour without losing any of them to the local monsters, some mutant test squirrels, you'll get a Skill Point called "You're my Hero". Past that, you can be heartless and smack them away to your very pleasure. You'll also need to follow the robot Fizzwidget into his hut if you want to get a Platinum Bolt.
You can also get another Skill Point called "Nothing to see here", by attempting to destroy all of the Megacorp rockets that are featured on the tour. They seem to all react differently when you wreck them:
- The first rocket just tips over and explodes.
- The second rocket immediately explodes
- The third rocket just about launches off, only to quickly fall back down and explode.
- The fourth and final rocket actually manage to have a good launch into the stars! However...
At 6:58, that same fourth rocket comes crashing back down to the ground in a completely different spot, killing some enemies in the process! HA!

In the Megacorp weapons facility, the Tractor Beam gets to shine once more as you'll need it to move certain platforms in order to get past some barriers.
One cases of this leads me to running into a Captain Qwark fanboy named Stuart Zurgo. He seemed to recognize Ratchet as the guy that beat him back in the Solana Galaxy and tries to fight him, but instantly fails.
This dork felt like he was owed something for Ratchet beating Qwark back then, and desired some kind of Qwark from his own galaxy. If you can find him that, you'll can get the Armor Magnetizer, which will increase your Bolt attraction range. I'll have to come back for this later.

Going further through the facility, one of the Platinum Bolts you can find will need you to rely on controlling a Spiderbot in order to hit a switch that will let you reach it.
At the very end of this facility is a prized weapon: The Sheepinator. It succeeds the first game's Morph-O-Ray, except instead of turning enemies into chickens, it turns them into sheep instead. That would explain the sheep you run into right before getting this weapon!
If you can turn 16 of those mutant squirrels into sheep with the Sheepinator, you will earn a THIRD Skill Point out of this level, called "Try to Sleep".

Within the rocket silo of this stage, Ratchet & Clank end up communicating with the female lombax. Turns out her real name is Angela Cross.
Thugs-4-Less have now taken over Angela's lab. They previously worked for her, but then they found someone that gave them a more valuable offer.
Also, "The Experiment" that Angela was trying to hunt down this whole time was now called the Protopet. She showed Ratchet & Clank more details about it.
The Protopet is being marketed as... well... a pet. But it was quite a dangerous creature to have around children. Apparently Fizzwidget is giving them out for free on Planet Boldan, being completely oblivious to how dangerous the Protopets are.
This is what Angela was trying to prevent this entire time while she was in her Thief garb. If the Protopet isn't stopped, it will me grave consequences for the Bogon Galaxy.
Ratchet & Clank will have to go to Boldan and stop Fizzwidget from selling the Protopet before it's too late!
