Ratchet & Clank Going Commando: Part 33: The Mutated Protopet (Final Boss & Ending)
8Ratchet & Clank have reached deep within Yeedil's Megacorp HQ and Protopet Factory. Angela was able to meet up with them at the door to the Protopet Duplication Room.
Before they could open the door, the three were met with that girl Infobot that admired Clank before. She had something very urgent to show them all.
Captain Qwark was... rather miraculously able to sell one million Hygienators, and he was planning to use the profits from that to commence his plan to make a comeback as the galaxy's greatest superhero. Since this wasn't gonna work after the mess he made in the Solana Galaxy, he decided to do this in the Bogon Galaxy, instead.
The plan? Cause the spread of the Protopets, and then eliminate it all.

After the Infobot girl shows this, she was promptly blasted by... Fizzwidget?!
And then... he... UNZIPPED HIS PANTS!!!
Revealing himself to be Captain Qwark this entire time!
Angela was seriously trying to make head or tails of what the @#%$ was going on here. Qwark explained.
Just as mentioned, he caused the spread of the Protopets. He wants to be a beloved superhero again by then subsequently eliminating them on his own, all while making the galaxy turn on Ratchet & Clank (and Angela) in the process by framing them as responsible for the Protopets.
He stole Angela's Helix-o-morph to use it on the original Protopet, believing it will make them all harmless.
HOWEVER, things didn't go as Qwark planned.
The Protopet instead mutated into a bigger, darker, uglier monster of itself, and went on a rampage, starting with eating Qwark and the Helix-o-morph.
Ratchet & Clank must now beat this Mutated Protopet so Angela can fix it and possibly stop the terror of the Protopets once and for all!

This monster doesn't just bite, he can also roll like a giant boulder, and use certain ammo against you. Natually, he can also spit out more Protopets to sic on you.
As you drain its health, you will be plunged into deeper arenas, some that may contain more robot and tank forces to fight you, too.
You just gotta keep your distance, and eventually this freak will give up!

When the Mutated Protopet faints, Angela was able to find the real Fizzwidget and bring him to Ratchet & Clank, where he congratulates them.
The Protopet spits out Qwark, who then spits out the Helix-o-morph. Angela wanted to see what went wrong with it, but Clank found out that it just had its batteries on backwards.
Fixing this, the Protopet was turned back to normal AND make it completely harmless. Angela planned to do this to all of the other Protopets in Bogon.
That Infobot girl was still badly damage, but Ratchet promised to Clank that he'll fix her up well.

Halfway through the credits, Ratchet & Clank were now back at their Bogon home of Megapolis, with Angela and the Infobot girl now joining them. They now wondered what happened to Qwark following his failed plan to be a superhero again.
He was now working at Megacorp. Seems like he was now use to test things such as the Waxinator and the Probomatic. He was now called to test the Crotchitizer...
And then we see what this looks like, and just WHY it has the word "Crotch" in its name.
He may not realize it, but it looks like Qwark got a painful dose of karma.

From that point, you can either reset back before the Protopet fight, or start the whole game over in Challenge Mode, which makes the game harder, but you keep all of your weapons and other stats, you can upgrade the weapons further, AND you can try to increase a Bolt Multiplier that will give you so much more Bolts just as long as you don't get hurt!
However, for now, my time with this game is done. I may return to take on this Challenge Mode, but now I just want to move on again.
