Throughout the PlayStation 3 era the Ratchet & Clank series has gone through its share of upheavals. Though regardless of how good the resulting spinoff games turned out to be in the public’s opinion, one thing is tough to be argued with: the story that began in the Future saga still hadn’t received its proper conclusion. But relatively soon there was a feature-length movie adaptation supposed to come out, alongside it — a tie-in game, and dropping the PS3 generation on the controversial spinoffs and making people wait for the resolution of the main storyline even longer wasn’t an option either. The solution? An epilogue of the saga — Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus. A small game that nonetheless could, and that had put an end not only to the PlayStation 3 era.
