0On planet Kerwan,if you have the money,you can buy a Blaster for Ratchet. A very handy little pistol that has a good strike distance and can be aimed in first person. To the left of the entrance is Qwark's training course. Climb up and do the obstacles to get to the third island where Qwark's trainer is. She is unimpressed with your performance,and makes you pay 1,000 bolts to get the Swingshot. This item is effectively a hookshot,able to bring Ratchet to select targets,as well as swing from some. Now to head right from the entrance. There are many enemies along the way,guard dog robots,robots with pistols,and a robot that runs away and places mines. When you reach Al's Shack,the guy will offer to upgrade Clank with a helipack for another 1,000 bolts. Now you can scale up higher places,and hover over small distances.
