hstorm, a skilled player who has beaten Tartarus, and is working on Hard Machine, challenged me to beat Rate Demon, as he thinks it's a fun level. If I beat the level, he said I could choose a level around the same difficulty for him to beat, and Rate Demon happens to be in Bass Cave range, so you know I had to accept. The level itself isn't all that bad in my opinion. It's an ok level, that suffers from an absurdly hard second half. It's an insane demon up until 40%, where things get really hard. I was unlucky and died to the last ship 20 times, as well as a 96 and 97 death, so I didn't have the best time with it because of that. This IS a dorami verification though, so truth be told, I did expect to get unlucky with it, because old Dorami verifications are rough around the edges. If you're good at ship and robot tho, I do recommend this.
