A small montage of Raw’s Skills.

The skill level of my uncle with a Bow was unbelievable and his crazy timing with the DB Shotgun sticking it in a Bear’s face. Was it skill or crazy? Maybe both.

I have attached a montage of a small number of his skills.    • Raw's Skill level montage, that leads...

Scratching your head, when wondering what weapons to choose? I, like many others have faced that very question. The following might be of some assistance if find yourself facing that dilemma. I have tried to match his Bow skills but afraid to say I am still some ways off but I am improving. I came across a later version of an Animal kill fest, he called it. I will check it and see where I can edit it because it is over an hour.

Weapon Choice:

When I asked my uncle what was the best weapons to use. He told me “it was silly for him to push his choices onto me” He said, “It is something you need to find for yourself”

He told me to make every weapon when I could afford the materials. Upgrade damage to level 1 and the load speed and mag size, where applicable, to level 2.

Some stats that may be of some help:

Standard Bow: Std Arrows: Stock 35 damage (L1) 42 damage (L2) 49 damage
Premium Arrows: Stock 38 damage (L1) 45 damage (L2) 53 damage Not much difference.

Re-curve Bow:
Premium Arrows: Stock 80 damage (L1) 96 damage (L2) 112 damage. Increases 16 per level

Pump Action: Stock damage 120 (L1) 140 damage Increases 20 per level
DB Shotgun: Stock damage 80 (L1) 96 damage Increases 16 per level
Rifles: Stock damage 49 (L1) 58 damage Increases 10 per level
Pistol .44: Stock damage 55 (L1) 66 damage Increases 10 per level

He told me to test them in every type of situation, to see how they performs and my ability to handle them. Then choose 3 weapons for my main weapons and upgrade to L2 damage.

He said that there are two things to keep in mind about Level 3 and 4. Although everything is better, regarding the damage, speed and Mag size each level, the repair materials are the same but can be more expensive if you don’t have the required material. So better to stay at level 2 until you have plenty of materials.

I don’t have any stats regarding incendiary rounds, as they were never discussed and I couldn’t find anything in his notes but I did find a trove of information and stats on many things. From what I can see only a handful were posted or uploaded. I will take a close look and if I think it might be beneficial, I will post it.
