The game was also released on The Dreamcast, N64 (Nintendo 64), PC Windows, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Gameboy Colour and Apple iOS. This was orginally supposed to be a 2D Platformer but they upgraded it to 3D before release. Michel Ancel designed Rayman to be an unorthodox hero thrown into a Magical Land with Robot Pirates. Rayman is captured and thrown onboard a ship with 18,000 slaves. He must escape with his friend Globox and return to free the slaves. We cover the development as well as gameplay and controls.
