Rayman 2: The Great Escape / Rayman Revolution OST (Full Soundtrack) [PC, Dreamcast & PlayStation]
Soundtrack from the Microsoft Windows, Sega Dreamcast, Sony PlayStation, Apple iOS & Nintendo 3DS game "Rayman 2: The Great Escape".
The Sony PlayStation 2 release is titled "Rayman Revolution" or "Rayman 2: Revolution".
Other versions of the game were released for other platforms. Those are for the Nintendo 64, Nintendo Game Boy Color and Nintendo DS.
The soundtracks of those versions however have a different sound altogether due to how the consoles and sound chips are built, therefore they are considered separate from this version.
It has been previously ripped by Droolie of the "Rayman Pirate Community".
In this video I've included my own rip of the soundtrack.
The reason why I chose go through the trouble of re-ripping the soundtrack myself is because I noticed a few minor and a couple of very noticeable mistakes here and there.
I used as references Droolie's work, the games themselves and other people's work to make the ripping process less tedious to go through.
The titles of the tracks are borrowed from the rip that is currently available on RayTunes as of September 18th 2023.

Everything was ripped directly from the various files and streams each version of the game uses.
-The PC version uses three file types: WAV, APM and BNM. APM files are similar to IMA 4-bit ADPCM streams, just stored in a proprietary container. BNM files are instead soundbank files that contain regular WAV files.
-The Dreamcast version uses WAV and DCZ files. DCZ files are just proprietary archives that contain collections of WAV files. However some WAV files use Sega's proprietary form of ADPCM which is AICA.
-The PlayStation version uses both XA streams and a non-standard VAG package. Both the XA streams and VAG package contain segments of each theme, sometimes in order and sometimes not.
-The PlayStation 2 version is very similar in structure compared to the PlayStation version, only this time it uses a BF file with its indexes stored in a VSC file.
The final four bonus HQ tracks come directly from the composer's personal portfolio website.
Soundtrack composed and arranged by Éric Chevalier.
