Strategy and tips:
There's much debate about whether it makes a difference, but for the record, I skipped the cutscenes on this run and edited them back in for the video. Other than that it's an easy gold, just ride quick and follow the route. You can take a Bitters tonic to help you swim across to Penelope without being spotted or running out of stamina. Be aware that the mission doesn't end with the final cutscene, ride your horse out of there to be sure of getting the time.
