Reach for the Sky | Terraria - Journey Mode, Master Difficulty! [P4]
0Hey hey, friends! Welcome back to episode four of our Terraria Journey Mode, Master Difficulty playthrough! After some building in town, we're moving onto more...dangerous pursuits. In the hopes of striking it rich, we turn our attention to the skies! Get ready as we attempt, with humorous results, to build a world-spanning skybridge to find any and all islands in the sky!
As a note, I fully realize that the series has started out a bit slower-paced than possibly you might have expected. Admittedly, part of this is simply due to not playing in two years, so it has taken a while to get back in the swing of things. However, the other part is that I figured I'd show of a bit of the building and early hardships as an example of why I decided to go with Journey Mode in Master Difficulty instead of a more "pure" Master Difficulty playthrough. As slow as it currently has been, just imagine how it would be if I had to farm up all the materials to build the houses from the last video, or the skybridge from this one! Either we'd be skipping large 10-12 hour chunks in between videos in order to farm enough to keep things interesting, or we'd be hyper-inflating the series with a lot of unnecessary (in my opinion) stuff.
Moving forwards, aside from a little bit in the next video, we'll be cutting out the majority of town/bridge building and other such low-intensity activities in lieu of keeping things a bit faster-paced and exciting (I promise to always review what I did in between videos and give an idea of how long it took). Stuff like exploration and treasure hunting will be the focus of the next few videos as we continue to gear up and get ready to finally take on our first boss (though not for a while yet; we really need the extra Life Crystals in order to stand a chance!). And believe me, things will get *really* intense once we get to that point. So embrace the slow burn for now, but understand that the pace and intensity will gradually be increasing as we go along. ;)
