I did video about this very briefly, but some people thought that mining in Terraria can be faster than just 225%+80% speed... Or is it? In this video, I test and check fastest mining in Terraria 1.4, since it added new item called "Ancient chisel"....

I had to get this: Pickaxe (Mining) power does NOT equal to mining speed! Pickaxe power is already valued, so it can't be changed. But mining speed is different, you can add up with potions, mining gears, etc. to the point of +127% in Terraria 1.4! That's insane amount of mining speed! If that's true, it should be able to mine with power of god himself, right???

Well, it's actually bit disappointing than that... it caps. Mining speed does not go up to +127%, rather it stops at +33%(at most pickaxes). You have that potion gives you 25% mining bonus with ancient chisel that also gives 25%? Well, using together, and you realize they're not on full potential! What gives!

Alright, here you go. Shroomite Digging claw now isn't number one pickaxe in top spot now. instead, you now have new option: Celestial pickaxes! (with at least 33% mining speed) Digging claw's monopoly's over! Now go mine that lizhard brick with SUPERSPEED!!!
