33At Gamescom 2025, we got some great news about the Nintendo Switch 2 and its performance in AAA games.
Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition has finally arrived on Nintendo's new console, but it's still in its early development phase. Unfortunately, performance hasn't been satisfactory: the game attempts to run at 30 FPS, but in handheld mode it drops to 15–20 FPS, especially in open and demanding areas of the world. Despite its beautiful graphics, performance is a concern for fans.
On the other hand, the positive highlight was Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which surprised with its quality. The game runs stably and smoothly on the Switch 2, demonstrating that the console is capable of delivering high-quality experiences when well-optimized.
