Shane McMahon announces that Daniel Bryan has resigned from his role as General Manager or GM of WWE Smackdown Live & as a result Paige is now the new GM.
This is a truly shocking moment that left the WWE Universe stunned as she is not what people were expecting. Especially as it comes less than 24 hours after her emotional farewell on Raw when she announced she was retiring after suffering severe neck injury.
Her retirement speech on the Raw after Wrestlemania 34 seems to be her saying goodbye as a wrestler not as a WWE Superstar.
