Pedigree is a chart showing a record of inheritance of certain traits for two or more ancestral generation of human being in the form of a diagram or family tree. Pedigree analysis is a system of analysis by following the movement and distribution of certain genetic traits. The system follows some conventions. This system is based on principle of probability, elimination of alternatives chances of differences in realised ratio due to smallness of the progeny. A pedigree of a common human hereditary trait is given below.
