This is the PAX X EGX 2020 Demo of the game and therefore it is best to realize that this may or may not be the final version of the game.
Shing! is a beat 'em up with a unique fighting style. Instead of using the traditional buttons to fight your foes you actually use the right analog stick to fight your enemies. I was a little indifferent to the controls as I am a fan of the old school beat em ups, but the controls started to grow on me as I continue to play.
I like the fact that when you die you do get to switch to another character instead of it being a game over, and the playstyle appears to be how many waves you can get through and after each wave, a checkpoint is created.
I recommend the game and this is one of my favorite demos from PAXOnline 2020.
