Real Bout 1 developed by SNK for Neo-Geo MVS (Multi Video System) arcade cabinets, first came out in 1995. Real Bout features a significant graphical upgrade from Fatal Fury 3; each character has been fleshed out with more proportioned limbs, improved physical statures, and smoother movement frames. Not only do the muscles and costumes look more lifelike, but they move as such as well; the image of Duck King's manly breakdancing stances and the tiny duck following him around. Average animation quality that plagued the first half of the Fatal Fury series has finally been replaced with something far better.
