Cosmic Carnage one of very few titles produced by Sega for the 32X platform. The 32X is a performance upgrade module that plugs on top of the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. Graphics for this fighting game are more colorful and crisper than your average fighters for the Genesis. The animations most of the time are a cut above the median game of this kind on the genesis. Backgrounds aren't half bad either, if not incredibly creative. Music and sounds are decent, heard far worse. Control is solid except for special moves. To its credit, the game is quite playable without having to continually pull off specials.
