In this video, we play EarthBound, an obscure game at the time, but now a cult classic. The original inspiration of modern hit "retro" RPG games like Undertale.

Expanding the "Real Hardware" audio recording series, I decided to do some Let's Play videos too, with emphasis on recording some of the notable music in the series! Classics intentionally recorded include:

Recorded from a Japanese Super Famicom with a Japanese EarthBound ("MOTHER 2") cartridge via composite video and stereo audio line out (from the multi-out). Video is viewed from an LG LCD smart TV, recorded using a Sony RX100-VA, while audio is fed directly to a Behringer UCA222 audio interface. Recorded in 1080p 59.94 FPS 60mbps, with perspective correction and 4:3 crop applied during rendering. Audio is recorded and uploaded in lossless 48kHz 16bit stereo.
