8Youtube is a growing platform, that wants you to make money and grow within its own restrictions. and platform they want you to be creative. GROW! but there are things we must understand when it comes down to youtube. Youtube is a VIEWER based platform, it wants you to make content for viewers. Don't think of the algorithm, think of your viewers. the more you aim to please and entertain your viewership the more the algorithm favors you.
Your thumbnails are important, but only to grab the attention of the viewer. Your thumbnail is not as important as the content of your video, but must sale the context of your video. in a few seconds. the better the thumbnail, the better the click through rate.
The context of your video must define a youtube search term, with titling your videos, think of titles that would be something someone searches google, bing and other search engines for. Imagine you are curious to look up something and your search results bring up videos on youtube, tiktok, and other platforms, you want to be searchable in places ore than youtube.
Hence your SEO score, your titles and hashtags in a video description are there to define the search terms in all theses formats. so you can be explored for. you are the next youtuber to be discovered.
Youtube is no longer the casual format of video's, they want you to think like a businessperson and plan your strategies ahead of the curve and make long term plans. basically map out your success and become goal oriented. start making a road map and go from there.
The last thing I want to cover is viewer depth over width. The best way to grow your channel bigger is not to try and gain more subscribers, growing you want to do, but viewer depth is to make content that lets the viewer to get to know you. As building a relationship with your audience as if they are one person. When you build a viewer relationship, people will attach to you and your brand. your BRAND will sell more the ore you sell your relationship and viewership on the depth of your personality. Make the content you want, but make sure to put you in the content, your true personality and your true thoughts. Then with that e can gloss shorts and little personality commercials for your channel and bring up much more - lets get into this!
