Here's another little project that I didn't have to do, but I did on my own time anyway. Do you remember my "Wikipedia MIDI" videos? There was the Cubase one ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7wUy4sbfKs ) and the MIDIjam one ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xi7KjcGi1hQ ). What I did here was I went back to the original Cubase file used to make that, and I deleted the MIDI notes. Then, I rerouted the Korg Triton MIDI instruments to the virtual instruments on the MBox2 (sampler patches stored on the PCs there).

Putting the transport on "loop" (the blue button to the left of the green "play" button) I played each track separately over and over a few times. I played all four instruments, in other words.

You might already know what chords I'm using here, but I'll tell you anyway since they're so simple. This song follows a common I - vi - ii - V(7) pattern. Here, that's C - Am - Dm - G(7). Another common chord progression that is similar to this one is I - vi - IV - V(7). IV ("four") in this case (C Major) would be an F Major chord, instead of a D minor chord.

Next from me: A version of the theme song from Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan. (The Japanese "Elite Beat Agents".)
