Grimnir plays a new game, a return to psychological horror with Visage. Halloween was a creepy affair this time around, this game is probably the most terrifying in terms of an atmospheric sense. I haven't felt this uneasy and on edge while playing a game. The game is truly unforgiving, with no guides or map or anything. Staying in the dark drives you slowly insane, which in turn increases the likelihood of paranormal events. Can't wait to get back into this game, despite how stressful this session was.

Visage is a 2020 independent psychological horror video game developed and published by SadSquare Studio. Set in a strangely structured house with a sombre history, players control Dwayne Anderson as he explores the backstories of the inhabitants who once lived there. The game is presented in first-person perspective, and a large portion of the house is accessible, although some areas require keys. Obstacles include avoiding the dark to reduce loss of sanity, though several tools can aid players through the dark.
