Realm of the Dead is one of only a handfull of Zombie games the PS2 has to offer. Published by Midas Interactive, RotD is set in a medi-evil time, having you wander round stages fighting hoards of zombie humans & beasts.
The graphics arent the greatest, but are clear and look ok. The controls are quite clunky, and as you move, even the enemies have issues attacking you. You also at times seem to slide along the floor while attacking.
Theres a storyline that you follow which is all text dubbed over with a Japanese voiceover, so your subject to a lot of reading, or ignoring the storyline.
The game is pretty playable despite its flaws, the only real main issue is that enemies take too many hits to defeat, and battles get quite tiresome. Other than that its a decent budget hack n slash game, if you like these games its worth picking up.
