
Realtime 3D Shadows in early Quake 3 derived games「Tremulous Basics」
The shadow rendering system in Tremulous is pretty prehistoric from the 1990s so it is a bit buggy and didn't quite make it to the final product of Quake 3 Arena. However you can still use it using these 2 command variables (vid_restart refreshes the rendering system):
/r_stencilbits "8"
/cg_shadows "2"
Value of "3" draws flat shadows, they look ugly on slopes.
Value of "2" draws realtime 3D shadows but they can bug through walls and stuff.
