In this 5 part series for “Realtime Digital Double”, Sefki Ibrahim shares his tips and tricks on how to take advantage of Character Creator and Texturing.xyz multi-channel face textures to create a real-time character (Ed Harris), and animate Ed's face and body easily in Unreal Engine.
This video guides you through Sefki's texturing workflow. He starts with morph sliders to achieve a base for the likeness and moves over to ZBrush to begin sculpting. Sefki then explains how he employs Texturing.xyz’s multi-channel maps using Wrap3, ZBrush and Mari to create a collection of skin texture maps for the character. Followed by applying displacement maps to the model in ZBrush.
