[RECENT] NFS: Undercover on Xbox 360 Emulator (Xenia Canary) - Runs MUCH better and doesn't crash!
next time i'll upload videos in 1440p. apparently, yt doesn't like h265 50k bitrate packed in mkv. ffs, why do you have to compress videos that bad?
Anyway...
It's been a long time since I posted anything about Need for Speed running on Xenia, and newer optimisations coupling with my new hardware to test them on are signs of high time to do so.
As for now, Xenia Canary is the most optimised and advanced variant of X360 emulator to run games and test them on, compared to general version of Xenia. All thanks to chrisps and to everyone who contributed to it!
The game starts with a suggestion to sign in to my gamer profile or something and this happens because I happened to have pressed start on a second gamepad (I had two gamepads connected to PC: Xbox 360 controller as Player 1, and Xbox One controller as Player 2), so keep in mind that when you playtest games on Xenia.
I also noticed that in the cutscene at when Qba Libre & M1 - God Damn plays, clean version ("yeah right, girl" instead of "god damn, girl") played instead of censored version that is in EA TRAX (sort of).
I am not gonna repeat myself on how this version is much superior to every version released - you know the details and will see them in this video.
Tested on: https://github.com/xenia-canary/xenia-canary/commit/b4224ff3dc87daf051ab4d1c47ae1ea0aa433e3e
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-10400F 2.9 GHz (yay, new CPU!)
RAM: 16 GB (DDR4 2666MHz in dual channel)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580 8 GB (do not rely on percentage workload: even though it may say 100% - the real maximum workload of GPU is in watts, which for this GPU is 160w)
