This may seem like an easy task, but many people think they can just change their email address or username without realizing that this will also affect their login information for any other accounts connected with that email. Nowadays almost everyone has a personal page on social media or some other website and these are all linked together by one email address which means if someone hacks into your Gmail account then they could have access to everything else in your life including work emails, bank details, photos of loved ones - the list goes on.So here's what you need to do to recover your Dropbox account password.
1. Go to Dropbox.com or open Dropbox app.
2. Click on "Forgot password?" link
3. Enter email address and click "Reset" button.
4. Confirm the code and enter new password.
