âķ Game
â Title: Red Ace Squadron / Die Jagd auf den roten Baron 2
â Publisher: Small Rockets, Xtend (German version)
â Developer: Small Rockets
âđïļ We also tried this on Master of the Skies: The Red Ace (Die Jagd auf den roten Baron 1) but unfortunate it crashed with DXVK Memory Allocation errors
âķ Benchmark interpretation
In the Benchmark we can see that using WineD3D with just DX7 reduces in lower FPS which can't even keep up with 60fps game play.
The downside of using DXVK is a close 1 GiB higher VRAM usage and slightly higher RAM usage as well.
The GPU utilization using DXVK is slightly higher (~2%) while the required CPU power is reduced by ~6%.
GPU Memory and Core Clock are the same in both scenarios.
âđïļ Editors note: We wasn't able to record the benchmark with out VSync to show the real performance difference as MangoHUD did not showed up using WineD3D and unlocked frames.
But by running DXVK with out VSync we where easily able to hit 300fps and above.
So the real performance benefit in using DXVK is way above 200%
