Red Dead Redemption 2 – Archeology for Beginners Gold Medal walkthrough video by the 6HourGods.

This is a dialogue-heavy mission, so you can skip to (13:20) for the two objectives. There are a couple ways to start out on the right foot, get your horse ready or enter first-person view (this makes Arthur run much faster). I failed this mission a couple times for science and it seems like the guards bug out if you try and restart from a previous checkpoint. Unfortunately, that means you have one chance per run to recover the relics under both constraints. The pathing I followed in the video has been the most consistent and low risk for me, so let me know in the comments how it worked for you!
