The Jack Hall Gang, a band of outlaws from the past, left their stash of gold somewhere in and around New Hanover. There is a total of three maps.
The player can purchase the first map from Maximo, a self proclaimed treasure hunter that can met after starting Chapter 2 near Flatneck Station. He will offer to sell the map for $10.00 and $5 if the player declines. Alternatively, the player can kill him and loot it off of his body. If the player fails to collect the map from Maximo, it can also be purchased from a Fence later on.
There is a mountain called Caliban's Seat. If you approach the area from north to south and there will be a pathway that will lead you up the mountain. When you reach the top, look for a small camp at the end. Head down to the right from the camp, and snack your way down the cliff side. You'll need to clear a gap so jump across and then vault over the rock wall. There will be a crack in the rock face that contains the first treasure.
Following the location of the first map, leads to the gang's jewelry and another map inside.
