Red Dead Redemption 2 Reduce Stutter FPS as Possible GTX 1050 Gameplay
❗ What i use in this was,
1. Razer Booster, (launch the game via Razer booster ) https://www.razer.com/cortex/boost for maximize perfomance core
2. Tweaked Notepad settings (Documents/Rockstar Games/ Red Dead R 2/ Settings.xml )
3. Defrag the game with Smart Defrag https://www.iobit.com/en/iobitsmartdefrag.php to speed up the RDR 2 Load screen and texture processing in-game
Outcome is, Greatly perfect after i did this 3 steps, before i do this was roughly 26 Fps most the time, now it's 30-40
❗ What i tweaked on the notepad settings : (All settings in-game are Low and Off )
hdrFilmicMode value="false"
asyncComputeEnabled value="true" (For the video purpose, i turn this false)
waterReflectionSSR value="False"
snowGlints value="false"
grassLod value="0.000000"
sharpenIntensity value="0.000000" [ Source "https://youtu.be/lSpGV5bEr4k" ]
AsyncComputeEnabled is a coded technique that are capable to stabilize your FPS, example you having huge stutter 30 to 22, then you if you use this Async, it will be fixed around the average of the FPS of what your GPU could reach, therefore the stuttering will be reduced and works for some GPU.
Why AsyncCompute is disabled ? if it was really useful
Because not all GPU is compatible with that feature, that coded technique is not work for GPU non-GTX Nvidia or non-RX Radeon ( Some people also end up getting the same FPS when they enable this ) [ Source : https://youtu.be/-pRTweQp2uw ]
❗ Minus is when you turn grassLod value into 0.000000, sometimes it change again by the system, therefore when it happen you notice the grass suddenly pop up, that's the time when you have to exit the game and rechange the grassLod value into 0.000000 again.
