Red Dead Redemption 2 Walkthrough: ENDING (HIGH HONOR: HELP JOHN)
0Farewell, my boah, Arthur Morgan... you lived like an outlaw and died like a KING... kept fighting till the bitter end.... this is one of the very few video game deaths that you cant stop crying to.... i mean, since the console release, i had more than a year to prepare for this emotional scene... and it was still as heartbreaking and gut wrenching, as it was, when i first watched it in radBrad's walkthrough, last year... the tears just couldnt stop.... hope he finds some peace in the afterlife... well, one thing is for sure, Dutch and Micah arent gonna bother him up there, and as a bonus, he can meet some old friends too... Lenny, Hosea, Kieran, Sean, Ms Grimshaw, Eagle Flies, etc...
Also, RIP my Windrider.... i'm gonna miss all the adventures we had, as Arthur and you tore across the map, hunting animals to upgrade the camp, completed a variety of side missions and just straightup had a fun time.... i'm gonna miss your happy neighing when Arthur patted you and called you a good girl.... people might call you a midget, but to me, you're the definition of loyalty... it broke my heart to watch you die, but at least you passed, knowing Arthur was by your side, the whole time, and that you kept him safe... hope that horse and human afterlife are the same, so you can be reunited with Arthur once again... despite your obvious size difference, you were the bravest horse of the gang... hope you find some peace, and like i mentioned above, Arthur, in the afterlife...
On a final note, i guess its time to shift to John's perspective... the missions in the beginning of the epilogue may be a bit boring but just you wait till we get to "American Venom", i have an entire arsenal full of upgraded weapons, that i cannot wait to unload in that bastard Micah's body when it happens... so until then, just gotta stay motivated and skim through Abigail's nagging....
(Sorry if this is seeming like a rant, but words cannot express how i felt when Arthur passed away watching the sunrise.... you could almost feel the moment his breathing stops, when his chest stops heaving.... Thank you, RockstarGames, for this masterpiece of a game, which was extremely detailed and heart touching, at least for me)
