0We are on the run. After the gun battle in Valentine, Dutch went back to camp to start packing while we lost the law. Once we finally return, we head out with Charles to scout for a new campsite. On the advice of Micah, we are heading to Dewberry Creak. There are many reasons that this location won't work. It is too open, there could be flooding in the rain, and someone has already made camp here. It seems that there are also outlaws in the area. They have taken a German Patriarch hostage. We go out of our way to save him, and in doing so find a better campsite. We are ambushed, but able to fight back the marauders taking their camp on the lake for ourselves.
