7Three years after the deaths of Uncle and John Marston, Abigail Marston has died and Jack Marston has buried her with them. Jack decides to hunt down Edgar Ross and kill him as revenge. This mission is classed as a stranger mission and begins when Jack speaks to agent Howard Sawicki and learns that Ross and his wife have moved to Lake Don Julio.
Ride to the cabin by the lake and speak to Emily Ross, this will reveal that Edgar went hunting with his brother. Ride to a location near Rio Del Toro and speak to Phillip Ross, who will tell Jack that Edgar is duck hunting down the San Luis River. Ride to the location and beat Ross in the duel that follows to complete the games story.
