Hello friends I am DragoNate and welcome back to Red Faction Guerrilla! Recently, THQ Nordic released a remastered version of Red Faction Guerrilla called Red Faction Guerrilla ReMARSDtered. There are obviously some graphical improvements and changes, but I was honestly expecting even more advanced destruction physics. It doesn't seem there is too much difference in the destruction, with the exception of one or 2 things being destroyed differently. Like those billboards in Eos. In the ReMARStered version, the screen is destroyed piece by piece, but in the original, the screen fades entirely at once. Also, it seems that my hammer in Red Faction Guerrilla ReMARStered is MUCH more powerful. Like, super powerful. I had no cheats activated for it, but I did have the golden hammer. I could literally send people flying a sector in the game. And those people had enough momentous force to smash through walls and such. Explosions in Red Faction Guerrilla ReMARStered seem to be a little more explosive maybe? Not too sure. Maybe I'm just blowing things up at the right spots!
I did not replay through the whole game, so there's probably some things I missed, but it seems like mostly visual upgrades. Cutscenes seem to be completely unchanged. Either way, I didn't dislike it, but I was hoping for more/better destruction, of course.
