Red Hat shoots itself in the foot again by announcing that they would no longer allow the general public to download the source code for Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This will cause problems for the RHEL clone publishers, such as AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux. It has also caused a huge backlash from Linux users, and at least some have already decided to switch from the RHEL ecosystem to community-based Linux distros such as Debian.
