Cloud, Tifa & Barret arrives at Shinra Headquarters to continue the rescue of Aerith and learns Shinra's latest evil doing and the circumstances concerning Aerith's fate. Cloud discovers one of the specimen tanks marked "Jenova" he immediately starts to flip out.
Professor Hojo is about to begin his next experiment and Aerith is one those specimens alongside another name Red XIII an "Lion-type". Cloud and the others tries to free them but Hojo sends in his reinforcements named H0512 one of Hojo grotesque monster he has created.
