Redcat Racing Blackout XTE Pro jumps a Playhouse | proof these can take a serious Traxxas beating!
To be clear, attempt number 5 was the most clean landing. I grabbed a handfull of brake and leveled it out perfect. As you will see, I landed WAY past the edge of the frame though so there's no real evidence lol. You'll notice the camera backed
I keep pushing this vehicle a little further and a little further, and it keeps impressing me more and more. This time... I jump over my daughters 6 foot tall playhouse. I never felt like I got a great shot of it honestly, since I had a small tripod as my cameraman. I did what I could though lol. In the process I got a TON of great carnage shots of this thing looking like it must have broken something. Well, that's because it did. But it was nothing major.
The damage?
- several more chunks of the body gone.
-split a rear shock body. tried repairing but it's just not going to hold. replaced with aftermarket metal body threaded shocks now.
-slightly bent shock shaft on same shock.
So basically I'm still at zero dollars worth of repairs on this thing. I've said it in the review and I'll say it again, $200 RTR out of the box has never been so great. For the fellow budget minded of you, give this awesome little machine a look.
Thanks for watching!
Comment away, I love getting feedback =)
