To think that Redfall comes from the same company that has Dishonored and Prey under its belt is just sad.
It's also a critical indictment of the state of the industry as a whole.
It's bad enough when modern gaming frequently consists of bad PC ports, but at least many of those usually end up being somewhere between decent and greatness.
Redfall isn't just a bad PC port, it's a bad game.
It's a bad game being sold to the masses for $70 USD, with the full expectation of studio pedigree to carry it to sales. This isn't just a buggy game or a bad port, it's fundamentally flawed at the base levels with an empty world, early 90s AI, and even a pretty world design cannot hide the flaws.
These aren't cracks in a good game, it's just an earth shatteringly bad game.
I very rarely refund bad games unless there is a good reason for it, and this game doesn't deserve to make a dime back in sales. Save your money, and if you already bought it REFUND ASAP
