My Thoughts:
Many moons ago my best friend worked for Psygnosis, I remember travelling down to Liverpool with him for his first interview with the company. I got to meet the legend musician 'Tim Wright' aka 'Cold Storage' who did the original soundtrack for the original 'Wipeout' game on PS1. Being a musician myself we kept in touch and I was offered a place to have one of my dance tracks featured in 'Wipeout 2097'. I compossed the track and Tim loved it, unfortunatly the studio I was using to produce a 'master copy' got ruined during a fire causing me to miss the deadline for getting my track into the game. (Yes, you can tweet/ask Tim if this is true!)
So having had some experience with the original 'Wipout' I am pleased to say that having just played 'Redout' it's absolutely exhilarating! It feels faster than 'Wipeout', handling is superb, the sense of speed is stunning and I cannot recommend this title enough.
yes, as a Steam Curator I got a copy of the game for FREE, but it has surpassed my expectations and by far better than any other game of the genre out there!
