There is a tendency for professional level musicians to only share the final take in a recording session, which can give a false sense of perfection that I believe can discourage musicians with less experience from putting in the effort to improve their playing over an extended period of time. I want to change that by sharing all of the mistakes I make while practicing drums/percussion and talk through how I try to improve. In particular, I will share what I do to practice drumline/rudimental drumming (e.g., snare, tenor, and bass) chops and technique that can help you with getting on a DCI/WGI line, as well as how I develop and work on drum kit/set limb independence, coordination, groove, etc. If you enjoy these streams, join me during a live session and ask questions, or simply play along with me and treat this as a drum lesson or clinic. Note that the hundreds of free drumming resources I am using during my stream can all be found here: https://jaredoleary.com/drum
