Hi everyone! In today’s video I’ll demonstrate a way of seeing and painting reflected light in watercolor.
Reflected light is light coming from the environment itself, in addition to the main light source.
It can be found in almost every scene, and is very common - and often important to include in our work, to make it more realistic.
Important note: I have loosely followed the reference here. I could have definitely been more accurate with the shapes of the subject, and the clear separation between the different values around the chin and neck.
My personal stylistic choice is to sometimes exaggerate color and temperature.
So feel free to go more accurate than I have here.
