Reflection [Mulan] Lydia Faulkner | Vocal Cover
Hello. So, I sang this a while back whilst I was trying to train up again after recovering from Covid. It isn't perfect, however if I'm honest I never aim for perfection as in my eyes there's no such thing. Once I recorded this I had planned to post it, however instead found myself completely and utterly forgetting to post it. I think half of me was probably stalling posting it. I hope you all enjoy
I of course do not own this clip, music- etc... Merely own my voice. I was skeptical about posting the video as a FAN-DUB as I thought for sure that Disney would ban it in some country's or strike it down completely. I can't write to them for permission- I guarantee they wouldn't allow it seeing as they're extremely uptight. It doesn't matter to them if you earn or not ( I do not earn anything ) they will still strike them down. I am grateful they haven't- yet. xD

INFO
Movie: Mulan (1998)
Song Written and Produced by: Matthew Wilder and David Zippel
Originally sung by: Lea Salonga
Vocals in Video by: Lydia Faulkner
Of course this scene I used belongs to Disney (although you all knew that). If you haven't watched Mulan yet- I recommend giving it a try. Quite humorous in places, beautiful animation and entertaining to watch. I personally don't recommend the live action...

LYRICS:
Look at me
I will never pass for a perfect bride
Or a perfect daughter
Can it be
I'm not meant to play this part
Now I see, that if I were truly to be myself
I would break my family's heart
Who is that girl I see
Staring straight back at me
Why is my reflection someone I don't know
Somehow I cannot hide
Who I am, though I've tried
When will my reflection show who I am inside
When will my reflection show who I am inside
