The Reins of the Slate Primordial Direhorn drops off of the rare elite mob Zandalari Warbringer. It is recommended to defeat him in a group of 2-3 people. The Zandalari Warbringer spawns in 5 different locations in Pandaria including Krasarang Wilds, Townlong Steppes, Kun-Lai Summit, Dread Wastes, and The Jade Forest. There is a small chance when you kill him that he will drop a Primordial Direhorn mount. There are 3 different possible mounts he will drop including an Amber, Jade and Slate Primordial Direhorn. The color of the mount he is riding is the color of the mount he drops. The current drop rate for each mount is between 4-5%.
