The exit/reenter after picking up the the armor key is to make sure I don't get hit by the Crimson Head or grabbed by the bald zombie. It's usually possible to just run to the door, turn around, and then run, but sometimes the bald zombie is in just the right position to grab you before you can enter the door, so I just play it safe. Also, I ALMOST get grabbed after getting the first part of the musical score. That part can be a little annoying sometimes. It's hard to judge exactly where the point is at which the bald zombie will continue around in the direction you're going and not head around the other side, trapping you. It's still more consistent for me to do it this way than to do it like they do in speed runs, though.
Rules:
1.) No damage
2.) No defense items
3.) Minimum kills (only 5 kills allowed: the key cerberus, the crimson head elder, Plant 42, Yawn, and Tyrant)
4.) 1 typewriter ribbon (3 saves)
