Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II is a third-person shooter hack-n-slash video game developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. A sequel to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (2011).

After being a massive fan of the first Space marine I have been waiting a very long time for a sequel; and I can't wait to see what happens after the cliffhanger the first game ended on.

Gameplay seems to be very similar to the first game, but just expanded and fine tuned. So I am hoping Space Marine 2 is just as action packed as the original and I can't wait to see how tearing up the Tyranids compared to facing the hoards of Orcs from the first game (I will miss the Orcs voice acting though). It seems to offer up engaging gameplay that lets you feel as powerful as a space marine should, but is still challenging to highlight how dangerous the 40K universe is.

I can't not talk about the graphics and art style as everything I have seen before launch is a really good representation of the 40K universe and its grim dark setting.

Even with the game being an absolute graphics powerhouse the game seems to be really well optimized from what I have played so far which is no small feet considering the hoards of enemies that appear on screen with all the background detail and effects as well so I can''t wait to see what the game has to offer.

If you are unfamiliar with the 40K universe I recommend checking out the Astartes fan film as an introduction, as it really gives you a feeling for what 40K is like (its also really cool):
